Family Christmas Pictures

Finally - The Bradford Family is still alive - Just been very busy. A couple of weeks ago our good friend Russell Woodward braved the snow with us out at Wheeler Farm to capture a Great Family Photo. After 300 pictures or so.......here are a few!

Adam was really cold by the time we shot this picture.
He wasn't in the "Partying" Mood!

Jacqueline had the perm-a grin going.

Trevor thought he would be cute and crown me with a snowball

Fun with friends

Today, was a fun day! I went with my friend April and her little girl Megan to our Relief Society luncheon. We had a good time. After wards we ran a few errand and took a drive up to the Draper Temple. I hadn't been up to see it yet. It is beautiful!
If I hadn't taken the picture above, I would have thought it was one that was bought.

The fall colors are coming into the valley. It is such a pretty time of the year!

Weekend in Moab

Trevor and I went to Moab this past weekend. It was nice just to get away. My husband was so wonderful; he let me do whatever I wanted. Friday night we went up to the La Sal mountains and stayed at my families cabin. It was so nice. A little chilly, but beautiful!

About a mile from our cabin there are cool dinosaur tracks.

They are pretty good size.

Mom had the house all decorated up for Halloween. It's always a lot of fun! Thanks Mom!

5th and Last Game of the Season

Tonight was the last game of the season. I think it's a good thing to because tonight it was COLD! This is Adam's little team again. Coach Brandon did a Great Job!

Trevor, Adam and I

Adam pulled this huge night crawler out of the grass. He thought it was AWESOME. He took it with us to dinner, but had to let it go before we went inside the restaurant. I'm sure there was a sign on the door that said "NO WORMS ALLOWED". LOL

Oquirrh Mountain Temple and the Copper Mine

Today, Adam and I went out to the Bingham Canyon Kennecott Copper Mine. On our way we drove past the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple, which is still under construction. It looks like it will be beautiful.

The Mine was neat. We watch a little movie about how the mine works and the history of it. Then went out onto the observation deck. It was windy and cold.

Look at the Size of the dump truck compared to the other truck. Blow is a picture of Adam in front of one of the tires that goes on the dump truck.

They were just about to blast so we waited to watch. It was cool.
The pictures below show a little.

Girls Night Out

Today I drove down to Utah Valley for Jacqueline's Visitation day. We met up with Linda. It was a fun day. We went Halloween costume shopping for JB. She is going to be a Ladybug. It's a cute costume. It a dress which helps so it's doesn't look juvenile.(That's very important to her). After shopping Linda took us out to Tepanaki for dinner. It was great. Our chief was very funny. Jacqueline definitely had a great time. I can't remember the last time she smiled and laughed so much. Thanks for the wonderful night Linda and all the goodies.

You're Wonderful!

Game 5 & the Bountiful Temple

I had the opportunity to got to Bountiful early today. Which allowed me to go to the Bountiful Temple. It was so beautiful. Something that I definitely needed. The dressing room was huge. I got there just as the session was beginning so I had a half an hour to wait. I read the the Book of Mormon for a while. Then I needed to use the restroom. It was located across the hall from one of the sealing rooms. The door was open so I took a peek. It was very pretty. One more Temple added to my list!

The older Adam gets, the more of a perfectionist I see him becoming. He tried hard, but was disappointed when he was not the one to score the goal. There was some pouting that showed that disappointment. Till finally he scored and then everything was great!

Trevor also had a baseball game tonight. I was a busy girl driving here and there. He was frustrated because they lost, it was cold and he pulled his hamstring on his left leg.
He played well though.

General Conference Weekend

Conference was wonderful. A lot of good thing to try to apply in our lives. We do not have cable, and the kids have a hard time just listening to it on the radio, so we drove to Provo and watched it at Trevor's parents home. After the Sunday afternoon session we took a drive up Provo canyon. It was so pretty. It had rain all day Saturday and most of Sunday. The mountains had even got a dusting of snow.

This picture is looking over the Provo Valley and Utah Lake

(Note: No coat on Jacqueline. She was having a Pre-teen attitude!)

This was a cool picture of the sun hitting on Utah Lake through the clouds. The picture just doesn't do it justice.

Tagged

My friend April tagged me a couple days ago. She is is so creative and very talented. She has a company called Digital Scrapbook Memories which is awesome(You should check it out). She has been so wonderful to me since ( actually even before) I moved up to Sandy. I think she was the first person in my ward to even speak to me. She is so sweet, and her blog is great! I love to check out all her neat ideas.

Six unspectacular quirks!

1) I don't like feet!!!!! Please do not put them on me or even around me. If I touch your feet (EVER) you know that I deeply and truly love you!

2) I am not the biggest Mormon Tabernacle Choir fan. I know there will be several out there who will be very disappointed in me (my husband to name one). He loves them. Almost every morning he turns on the stereo full volume to jam out to MoTab - It doesn't help!

3) I do not like the windows in the car rolled down when you go over 40 mph. It kills my ears!!! If you're hot, that what they made the a/c for!

4) I love Necco's. They are my favorite treat ever! Well maybe not ever but I really enjoy them.

5) I have a hard time making decisions.

6)I hate to do anything that comes to maintenance on the car. I don't like to get gas, get the oil changed, get it registered, wash it, etc...... i just want to get in it and drive!

My Harvest

In the past I have had a wonderful garden. At least 10 tomato plants, peppers, cucumbers. Our place here in Sandy only has a small back yard, so I did plant at least one tomato and one cucumber. This is the Harvest.

There are a few (maybe 5) tomatoes still on the plant. These are suppose to be regular tomatoes, not Cherry tomatoes. I didn't get any cucumbers. I was afraid I wasn't going to even get the tomatoes. They were green up until a week ago. My Aunt Sandra suggested I take a hammer and lightly hit it at the base of the stem. It worked! Thanks Aunt Sandy.

Call the Cops

Tonight when Trevor came home from work, he was really irritated. I asked him what was wrong and he took me outside and started up the truck. It made a horrible roar. Like the muffler was gone but the sound came from the front of the truck. After climbing underneath the truck, it appears that today while Trevor was a work someone climbed under and sawed off the Cadillitic converter. We called the Police. They said there has been a lot of this type of thief in the area during the day! I figured around $300 - $500 to fix. Nope is is going to be around $ 1500. OY!!!!!!! Jerks!

Autumn and night with the Girls

Today I got to Springville early, so I decided to drive up Hobble Creek Canyon, rather then just sit and wait for Jacqueline to get out of school. It was so pretty. The colors were amazing!

After picking up Jacqueline, we met up Linda and Angela. Linda treated the big girls to a pedicure and the little girls got their finger nails done.
We also also went and had dinner then just looked around the mall for a while. It was a lot of fun. Thank you Linda for being so good to us! We love you!

Josh and Baby were with us too. They were good sports having to hang out and go do girly things!
