Catch of the day

Tonight, Trevor and I went to dinner at McGrath's Fish House. As we were eating dinner, he asked me why didn't get his birthday dessert for him at Texas Road House. I hadn't heard him say anything about it so I said we would just do a birthday desert tonight. I asked our server if they did anything for birthdays since it was my husband's birthday. Here's what they did..........

They came out with this big fish hat telling everyone that Trevor was the "Catch of the Day". It was hilarious! I died laughing. He was a good sport, plus he got a hot fudge sundae!

Today is Trevor birthday! He's the big"35". Yesterday, we went to dinner with his family at Texas Road House and then went to his baseball game. It was a nice night.

What's New?

A few Sundays ago Trevor and I drove up Big Cottonwood Canyon. We decided to go "explore". We hike up to this neat waterfall.
It was very pretty.

This was the sunset as we headed down the canyon.

Last Wednesday, August 19th was Jacqueline's first day of school. She is in 6th grade now and is going up fast!

We were able to stay in Provo on Wednesday, so Adam thought he's get a little fishing in at Grandma and Papa's

The Provo river just out side the gate of their back yard. It is very pretty.

Fall baseball is back in "Swing" Trevor is playing with the cubs. He love baseball!

Adam's first day of school was Monday, August 24th. Since we could be there in the morning, we took him to the Bee's game to celebrate his big 1st day!

They lost - But Adam got a big cotton candy all to himself so he thought is was a great game.

California trip for Herb's Memorial

We went this last weekend to California for Trevor's Grandpa's memorial service.

We've never stopped for a picture in Nevada so this time we did.

We went to Laguna Beach. We had a ton of fun!

Adam rode the body board, till he and I got taken out by a big wave!

I ended up with a nice goose egg!

Same day, Adam ended up with a nice bruise on his eye after a slip & fall at Chili's. (Dang Urinal)

Breakfast at the Renaissance Club Sport. This was a great place to stay!

Linda and David had bought this beautiful wreath for the services. Linda had prepared a couple videos that were very good and gave a little talk. She did such a wonderful job. What a great tribute it was to her Dad.
